Leoch NordEuropa and Leoch France, based in Germany and France accordingly, are seeking to hire Accountant executives for each company.

Both companies are subsidiaries of Leoch International Technology Ltd., one of the world’s top battery manufacturers active in the design, production and distribution of industrial batteries with a manpower that exceeds 13.000 employees worldwide.

Leoch NordEuropa specializes in the promotion of the globally renowned Leoch branded lead-acid and lithium batteries in DACH region while Leoch France only within France country.

Leoch products cover a wide range of critical applications for a broad spectrum of industries, including Telecommunications, UPS Systems, Renewable Energy, IT, Power and Distribution Material Handling and Logistics, Leisure & Mobility, Transportation, etc.

 In view of the launch of our SAP systems in Germany and France, both companies seek to hire an Accountant to handle financial operations and prepare management reports. Financial and operational tasks are currently performed by outsourced (to be gradually replaced) and non-finance related personnel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare local accounts and ensure that the account numbers are consistent with the company’s operations
• Invoicing and other financial operations and management
• Communicate with relevant persons or assist with headquarters requirements
• Cost of processing and verifying wages, rent, etc.
• Prepare local annual financial budget
• Prepare local monthly financial analysis
• Prepare local annual financial reports, taxes and annual returns

Candidate Profile:

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• 2-5 years of similar working experience in finance field of operations, ideally in the industrial sector
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English. Knowledge of other languages is considered as an extra asset.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, active listening skills
• Adaptable, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and critical thinking
• Business-oriented nature
• Team Player who is willing to work cross-functionally
• Exposure to international environments and cultures
