Telekom Hungary has chosen Leoch batteries to power one of its critical base stations. Our local business partner, Smart Electronic APC Eurolog Ltd. installed Leoch Long Life 2V 500AH batteries in one of the most important indoor T-HU sites where high reliability is essential.

Smart Electronic, based in Hungary, is operating since 1989 as Europe’s first APC distributor with more than 6 million AH battery capacity sales and a professional 24/7 service center. Leoch signed a business partner agreement with Smart Electronic in 2015 to promote, sell, and support in full (maintenance, service, installation, recycling, etc.) of its products in Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

Leoch Premium Long Life batteries, LPL 2V Series, are AGM Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid batteries that have been optimized for a wide range of applications requiring Long Floating Life. Engineered for long-life applications, the LPL Series 2V is classified as very long life, according to Eurobat, and offers up to 16 years of float life.
